Sayma Rahman, Founder and CEO of SR Ventures and Consultancy, is a Stanford Seed Mentor and a key figure in women empowerment. With over 14 years at Grameenphone, she facilitated digital transformation, developed a Telecom API platform, and forged global partnerships with tech giants like Google and Facebook. She participated in the Telenor Incubation Program, creating a digital mental health solution. Currently, Sayma empowers local businesses and startups through consulting and angel investing. She mentors early-stage entrepreneurs at Stanford Seed Spark and is actively involved with Bangladesh Angels. Her efforts have been recognized globally, earning her accolades such as ‘Top Progressing Woman Leader in Bangladesh’ in 2016. Sayma holds an MBA from Paris Graduate School and has completed advanced leadership programs at INSEAD and IMD. Passionate about travel and social impact, she supports Jaago Foundation School as a volunteer teacher.
