About the startup

Goireek Boronee

I developed a passion for sewing and new designs, although I never understood that fully. Initially, I started working but couldn't continue for long. Family responsibilities and the needs of my children and household forced me to quit my job. Then, I realized I had to do something from home. This thought led me to decide to start a business, and that's how "Goireek Boronee" was born. With a modest investment of only ten thousand taka, I began making clothes for girls in 2014. At first, I took orders from friends, relatives, and acquaintances and gradually expanded by opening a Facebook page named "Goireek Boronee." However, I lacked expertise in the beginning, and progress was slow. Currently, my product range includes three pieces, sarees, bed sheets, cushion covers, embroidered quilts, etc. But my signature product is Nakshi Kantha. I am explaining in short about Nakshi Kantha. I am hopeful that my products will be exported to Europe, America, Australia, and other countries. Presently, I have shifted to Dhaka and manage my business from here.
